“I am so glad I found Julie on Houzz! I sent emails to several potential designers and she replied very quickly, which I appreciated. I had never hired an interior designer before and the process seemed intimidating. I always had this idea that it would be very expensive or perhaps I wouldn’t “click” with the designer. That was not the case with Julie, she was easy to understand, down to earth and she immediately put me at ease. My husband and I bought a semi-custom home and we had to choose interior finishes, such as floors, tile, lighting, etc. Julie came in toward the final stage, because I was having a hard time believing in my choices and needed guidance in other areas. We had a great brain storming session, where we talked about my design wishes and what the project entailed. The next day she accompanied me to the design center for my final appointment and I was SOOOOO happy to have her by my side. We reviewed the materials I had chosen so far and she gave me confidence to stand by some of my choices and she guided me to choose other options to ensure we had a cohesive look throughout the home. She offered up ideas that I never would have thought of to give my home that special touch.
